How do I remove spool holder from drive shaft?

Depends on make and model. Most electric strimmers have a removeable cover over the spool. This cover has 2 pressable tabs that releases the cover that then lifts off exposing the spool. Some spolls are clipped into this cover, others sit on the drive shaft from the motor. In both cass the spool should lift off / out. Make a note of the direction that the cutting line is wrapped around the spool so that you can re wrap it correctly with new line. Hope this helps

How do you change ink on a canon p20-dh calculator

For accounting offices and stores, calculators that produce a printed paper are indispensable. Canon's desktop or commercial printing calculators use ribbon tape, and you'll need to change the ribbon when it is used up. All Canon desktop and commercial printing calculators use the same method for changing the ribbon.
  • Turn off the calculator.
  • Pull up on the tab on the far side of the printer cover to remove the cover.
  • Pinch together the ribbon lock (the arrow shows you the direction to pinch). Lift the ribbon spools off the shafts and discard them.
  • Separate the new ribbon spools. Guide the ribbon tape around the four guiding pegs and set the spools on the shafts. The spools should be peg side down.
  • Rotate the spools so the peg at the bottom of the spool goes into the hole of the spool holder. Release the ribbon locks.
  • Rotate the spools to make the ribbon taut, keeping the ribbon positioned around the guide pegs.
  • Replace the printer cover and turn the calculator on.

I NEED A SPOOL COVER WHERE CAN I GET IT ?

How to make a spool cap cover for an American Gardener YS24 (Weedeater XLT24) Trimmer

If you've tried to buy parts lately for your trimmer, you've noticed they are harder and harder to find. In fact, I was unable to find a spool cap cover, so I came up with this work-around.

Before you start this project, it's important to save any parts from the old spool cover-especially the top, if you can. The top is needed to make a spacer for the new cover that will still allow you to "bump" out the string.

I used a Craftsman 71-64215 replacement spool retainer to make my new spool cover cap. It fits the Craftsman C3 19.2 volt 74381 String Trimmer (CRAC06540 spool cap). I found this cap at a local Ace Hardware, but apparently it is also getting hard to find-I googled the Ace Hardware number to find it on the web-"7314644 cap." I bought a couple extra from HardwareDistributors.com. Note that the diameter of the cover at the tabs is the same diameter of the old cover-although the diameter of the cap is slightly larger.

Take the old cover, and using the tab from the old cover, mark a line on the new tabs the same width as the old. Make sure you center the old tab on the new tab so you will remove the same amount of plastic from each side of the new tab. I used a dremel tool with the cutoff wheels to cut the tabs on the new cap to the same size as the old cap.

If you look at the new cap, there is a round plastic circle ridge on the bottom of the cap. If you look closely you can see a slight indention, or discoloration on the top of the new cap matching the circle on the bottom. You need to cut the plastic out of the new cap matching the plastic circle. I used a dremel tool with a metal cylindrical grinder to do that.

Once you get everything cut, put the old cap into the new cap so that the spokes face down toward the similar spokes on the top of the spool. You may have to trim the old cap so it fits into the new cap.

Finally, snap everything together into your trimmer-don't forget the spring. Note that the new cap has about a 1/8 inch gap above the spool. However, this doesn't seem to affect the trimmer-and you can still "bump" the head to eject the string.

I have a honda generator but i change the cordon starter and now i dont now how ensable it, i need a diagrama of this

What you need to do is first remove the new cord that you installed.
(This next process is best performed by 2 people)

Pre-wind the spool gently COUNTER CLOCKWISE until the spring prevents further winding. Have the 2nd person grip the spool so that it does ot unwind. Back off the spool until the re-wind rope hole is aligned with the outer cover rope guide. Insert the new rope through the outer cover rope guide hole and into the spool hole. Pull the new rope through the spool hole and tie a single small knot. Pull the knot into the hole. 2nd person releases the spool and the rope will rewind into the re-coil assy.

The string on my spool ran out.

• Turn off the trimmer and remove the battery
• Press the release tabs on the line spool cover and remove the cover by pulling it straight off. replacement spool is AF-100
• Lift the spool of nylon line out of the hub and clear any broken line and debris
• In case of jams and tangled line unwrap about one foot (30cm) of line to ensure that it is undamaged. If it is OK rewind it and insert the line end through the eyelet in the spool hub.
• Pull the line through the hole to maintain tension while placing the
spool down into the hub with the notched side exposed.
• Press the spool down GENTLY and rotate it until you feel it drop into place. (When in place, the spool will turn a few degrees left and right freely.)
• Snap the spool cover back on.

How to wind a pull rope

Thread the rope into the spool and knot the end, pull a 6 to 8 inch bit of slack from between the spool and the outer cover and let the rope set into the small indentation on the outside of the spool. Rotate the spool with rope attached and sitting in the notch in the opposite direction of recoil until sufficient tension is achieved, pull slack back through feed hole in cover and allow the spool to draw the rope into the spool, now attach the handle.
the notch in the spool is there to allow you to spin the spool without twisting the rope or having it bind on the cover.

Refill line on spool of toro electric model 910

Onve you remove the cover the spool should pull straight out. Be careful, there's a spring under the spool that can fly out and get lost. You need that spring to re-assemble.
