The driver is gone because the laptop was reformatted

I downloaded an antivirus the other night and unfortunately some files were corrupted so i immediately formatted it. The driver for A4tech PK 635m was lost that's why i'm asking for a free download of the installer.

Destructive recovery

A destructive recovery IS reformatting your hard drive. Re-installing Windows and keeping the old files is the "Non-destructive" route. Remember that you will lose ALL your data if you format but that means the virus will be gone too. Try downloading Avast free antivirus and running a boot-time scan, once that's done download and run MalwareBytes anti-malware, that should clean you up without the need to format.

How to reformat my samsung gtc3510 because og hanging

Possible that PC is hanging up as there is fault on the OS ( operating system) . So open the internet options in the browser and clean all the cookies, temporary internet files, defragment the drives and RESTORE the PC to an earlier set date.

You can use a registry cleaner like Advanced system care. Download from the site and check you system for corrupt files. Also use a good antivirus software which is active to keep your system performing without an attack on the OS. Remove all unnecessary programs installed which you do not use all the time and clean up the drives. This will free up the space and make your system faster.
If there is no response but the PC tends to work slower and occasionally hanging when a program is being executed then you might have to install the OS once again. Install the OS and then an antivirus before the drivers of the PC is installed.

Due to virus files corrupted

HI,

It seems you have virus problem.

First let me say that it is a matter of great uncertainty. We try to do as much as we can and hope that the problem gets fixed.

There are 3 software I would request you to try. All have trial versions so no need to pay

- ESET (NOD32) for antivirus. Take Smartsuite.
- DrWeb also antivirus take the pro version
- Malyware Bytes spam and adware protection

If these three cannot clean up your system, then you need an expert. Or reformat and start afresh.

Cheers

Laptop got virus

type into your search engine------avir free------ and download the avir antivirus free program. It is super terrific and will definitely get rid of your whatever you have. I have tried a large number of those programs, include some I paid for, and none of them stand at the front door and keep stuff out. All of the others will get rid of it once it is already in but this one stops it from entering. It is the only program I would use for stopping and getting rid of viruses, worm nd malware.

Computer got virus...doesnt even run the antivirus software installed

A good virus removal tool called ComboFix may help you. I've used this on several computers to wipe out virus problems and it's been great. This site has instructions on using ComboFix and links to download the tool.

Try this before reformatting your computer. Post a follow-up if you need more help.

Dell Laptop Inspiron 6400 - "Stop Error Screen" appearing

This stop error means that your ntfs file system is corrupt (damage in the file system, bad hard drive data, corrupt SCSI or IDE drivers or a corrupt ntfs.sys file).

There are two ways, you might be able to fix it

1, If you still can access Windows, try to disable any backup programs, virus scanning programs or disk defragmenter tools. Try also to run a hardware diagnostics tool to detect any errors your hard drive might have. And run chkdsk /r to detect and repair any file system structural damage.

2, If you are unable to load Windows. Then you should try to access your ntfs partitions by making a ntfs boot disk with NTFS4DOS (freeware).

After you load the bootable floppy disk onto your damaged system, select either option one (1) or option three (3). If you selected option one (1), type chkdsk /r at the command prompt, and your problem should go away after the disk has been repaired.

Note! Unfortunately there is a chance that your partition is corrupt beyond repair and all of your data is lost. In that case, you need to reformat the partition to be able to use it again.
