Question about Computers & Internet
New Dell Studio 15 laptop, password won't work, no password recovery disk. Dell wants $60/hour to reinstall Vista & may can save files. Microsoft won't help because Vista was installed on the Dell when bought. Have seen lost password solution OphCrack online and tried to download to a CD but can't get that to work on a CD/DVD drive on my Lenovo desktop. Various error messages - not sure its the PC or if the download. The laptop password was not lost, the laptop was on in the morning, left on, went to sleep, and upon awakening password would not work. Not sure if it's a tried 3 times unsucessfully lockout thing or just a weird VISTA thing. Any reason that Vista password would work for 2 months straight in mid-day all of a sudden won't anymore? Is this a known Vista annoyance? Any suggestions on a solution would be great. thanks. cd
I might be able to do it for 20 pounds an hour where do you live and that is probably the cheapest you will get
