Question about Samsung SAM1100 LCD Remote Control

1 Answer

Button Problems When I began programming my remote, some of the buttons no longer operated correctly. Specifically, when I tried programming the VCR function button, the LCD display no longer displays VCR, but displays TV. When I tried doing the same for the Audio, and the Audio button now displays TV on the LCD panel. Is there any way to reverse or fix this?

I've looked on my remote and the instruction manual, and all I can tell is that I have an Axession Samsung (America Inc.) Learning Universal Remote with LCD, SAM 1100. Given that I am posting in the SAM 1100 LCD remote Control section of the Samsung forums, I assumed this was already known. If the model number is not included in the information I have provided, could you please tell me where I might find it?

I need code(s) for my DVD Video, Model #: NB093 remote control to program my Philips DVD Player/VCR, Model #: DVP3345V/17. Can you please help me? I would greatly appreciate it. Here is a picture of it.

http://remotecodelist.com/remotes/magnavox/magnavox.htm lists the code for your device as possibly being 1000, 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, or 1005. Of course, you also have the option of using the remote controller's "Code Search" button. 25300580-iv4burzhkawezvl2jbah1xae-2-0.jpg With Codes:
Turn on the DVD/VCR unit directly. Continue to depress the remote controller's "Code Search" button for about ten seconds, release, & the light on the remote controller should stay on. Enter the four-digit code (1000, 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, or 1005) for the DVD/VCR unit. The remote controller's light should go off. Press the remote controller's power button, & when the DVD/VCR unit turns off, then you will know that the remote controller has been correctly programmed.

Without Codes:

With the DVD/VCR unit on, continue to depress the remote controller's "Code Search" button for about ten seconds, release, & the light on the remote controller should stay on. Continue to tap the remote controller's UP or DOWN channel button ONLY UNTIL the DVD/VCR unit responds. Then, press the power button on the remote controller once the channel has changed. If the DVD/VCR unit shuts off, then press the power button again to turn it back on. If the DVD/VCR unit turns on, then the remote controller has been correctly programmed. Otherwise, repeat this whole process until the remote controller is correctly programmed.

Why Am I Unable To Program The RCA Remote Control To Operate My Components

Why am I unable to program the RCA remote control to operate a component? Why am I unable to program the RCA remote control to operate a component? If you are unable to program the remote control to operate a component, review the following information:

Compatibility
If none of the programming procedures work, the universal remote control may not be compatible with your components, based on the type of infrared technology and the age of the components. Some RCA universal remote controls will only work with components manufactured after 1990.

Distance
If you are testing the remote control after you have entered a code, you may be too far away from the component or you may not have the remote control aimed directly at the component. Because the remote control uses infrared (IR) technology to communicate with components, there must be an unobstructed path between the remote control and the IR sensor on the component.

Code Entry Methods
If the Direct Code Entry method was used to enter the codes for your brand and the unit is still not functioning properly, try one of the automatic code search methods instead. During automatic code search, the remote searches for the correct code to program.

Modes
For the remote control to know which component you wish to operate, you must put the remote control in the correct mode by pressing the corresponding component button.

Combo Units
To program the remote control to operate combo units, such as TV/VCR’s, TV/DVD’s, or TV/VCR/DVD’s, use the combo codes in the Code List to program the individual corresponding component buttons. Once programmed successfully, the TV button controls the TV functions on your unit, and the DVD or VCR button controls the DVD or VCR functions, respectively. The codes in the combo section should be tried first, using the Direct Code Entry method on the TV and DVD or VCR buttons. If this is unsuccessful, use one of the Code Search methods to program your combo unit.

Batteries
Make sure the batteries are new and properly installed.

Remote menu button not working

Sometimes you can enter a code that will work nearly all the buttons, but is not the correct code for your DVD player. You should try other codes. But sometimes a universal remote will NOT work every function.

If the VCR button lights up when you press the Power button, you are not in the correct mode to operate the TV. If the remote is programmed correctly, when you are in SAT mode, you can press the large RED button to turn your receiver off/on. The RED TV button will turn your TV off/on. I have provided links to program your remote to your TV again. I have also provided codes for your Sanyo TV.

I have this RCA remote and I misplaced the guidebook.

You must first find out why the remote control is not working properly. These remote controls have been having problems with new batteries. The battery holder on the positive side need to be adjusted out to make sure its making contact with the batteries. This may be the reason the remote control is not working. After you find the problem with the functioning of the remote control you can go to the RCA customer support website http://voxrightnow.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/voxrightnow.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=1769&p_created=1209688350&p_sid=6-sdxLAj&p_accessibility=0&p_redirect=&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9ODE4LDgxOCZwX3Byb2RzPTE1OCZwX2NhdHM9MCZwX3B2PTEuMTU4JnBfY3Y9JnBfc2VhcmNoX3R5cGU9YW5zd2Vycy5zZWFyY2hfbmwmcF9wYWdlPTEmcF9zZWFyY2hfdGV4dD1yY2Egc3lzdGVtIDUgcmVtb3RlIGNvbnRyb2w*&p_li=&p_topview=1 find the codes for the components you want to use with the remote control. Use the codes to make the remote operational . This should be all you have to, if the remote control is working properly. Cannot program dish remote to operate tv

Please follow the steps below to program your remote control to equipment other then your DISH receiver:
Note: If you start this procedure and at any time and do not press a button within 20 seconds, the remote will end the procedure automatically. Simply start over again. Use the TV button for your TV, the VCR button for your VCR or DVD player. These Mode buttons are located at the top of your remote control.
1. With the desired equipment on, press and hold the correct Mode button until all mode button backlights illuminate, then release.
2. Press the numbers 5-0-0 on the remote control.
3. Press the Pound (#) button on the remote.
4. Press and hold the correct Mode button until all mode button backlights illuminate, then release.
5. Press and release the Power button on the remote control.
6. Press the Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the desired equipment. If the code for the equipment comes up, the equipment will power off.
7. Press the Pound (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.
8. To verify the code works try several different functions for that equipment.
We cannot guarantee our remotes will work all other devices. If this does not correct the issue, unfortunately our remote will not work for that device. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Let me know if I acn assist further. Please rate this solution.

Remote control not working

have you program first the remote control, to work on your TV..??

Heres a few instructions how to programmed your remote..

  1. Test your remote control. To find out whether your remote control can operate the component without programming, turn on the component such as a VCR and press the corresponding MODE button (VCR) on the remote control, while illuminating on the selected component. Test the POWER button to see if the component responds properly. If not, the remote requires programming to operate the device.
  2. Turn on the component to be programmed, then press the corresponding MODE button on the remote control.
  3. Press the MENU and MUTE buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds, the button selected component lights on the remote control. If you don't press any button for 20 seconds, the button selected component will turn off on the remote control. At a moment, you have to repeat from step 2.
  4. Enter a code number using the number buttons on the remote. When pressing the button, the light is blinked at a time. Programming code numbers for the corresponding component can be found on the following pages. Again, if the code is correct, the device will turn off.
  5. Press the MENU button to store the code. After blinking twice, this code is stored.
  6. Test the remote control functions to see if the component responds properly. If not, repeat from step 2.
Try 001 as the PCode.

Thanks..

Sylvania 6313CB 13" TV/VCR replacemnt remote

We have a Sylvania 6313CB TV/VCR combo.  I bought a universal remote and the code would not work when I tried to program it to the "TV" button using all those possible codes listed in the books.  So, on the universal remote, there was a button named "VCR" and when I programmed in the code "0000" all worked.  This was a $6.00 universal remote named "One For All"  we bought at the Big Lots store.
Specifically, here is what I did:
Turned TV on Pushed the "VCR" button and light blinked once Pushed and held the "set" button until it blinked twice Released the "set" button and entered the numbers "0000" Pushed the on/off button and it worked including volume, channel up/down and channel change by entering the channel number.
Hope this works for you too.
