No you can't. Modern cash registers can not use 2 ply paper. The 130CR was never designed to print more than a receipt or journal. This is a very cheap low quality machine so it has limited functions. ------------- For those of you who asked for a 130CR manual, there is one here: http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_130CR_users_manual.html
2 ply toilet paper has double the thickness of single ply. sometimes thicker paper is used, or sometimes it is literally 2 sheets of single paper on top of eachother.
I SEARCHED THE VIERIFONE TECHNICAL SUPPORT SITE AND...YES YOU CAN PRINT CASH RECEIPTS. USES STANDARD ROLL PAPER 58mm (2.25 in) X 25M (82 FT) SINGLE PLY.
PRINTS 18 LINES PER SECOND 32 OR 42 COLUMNS.
IT HAS AN INTREGRATED THERMAL WITH GRAPHICS CAPABILITIES.
Sounds like you have a mismatch in the paper you are trying to print on and the paper that is loaded in the printer. HP printers look to feed paper from tray 1 anytime the computer settings don't match the paper loaded in tray 2. Tray 1 is the multi purpose tray and prety much any size paper can be loaded in tray 1. Double check your document settings and double check the paper size loaded in the paper tray 2 and make sure they match. Also try printing a different document to see if the error persists. If it does this on everything you try to print you should also double check teh rear guide in the paper tray. There is a rear guide in paper tray 2. If it slides back too far it will make the printer think that paper longer than 8 1/2 x 11 is loaded. Push the paper all the way forward in the tray and push the rear guide until it is snug with the tail end of the paper stack.
U mean the paper size? the QT-6600 is a rom based terminal, paper size is depend on the receipt printer u attached with.
If u mean the wording, u may change it in PGM2, by pressing the "DBL" key when u input the word.
Press the yellow menu/esc key (enter password if app.) press 3 and select single ply paper from the menu (use the arrow keys to navigate ie. return, void, verify, offline) then esc to the main screen.
The only suggestion I could make may be obvious but my experience has taught me that you need to make sure the paper is installed correctly, especially with double ply paper. We have learned that the yellow receipt copy ply must be attached properly to the green roller so that the double ply paper from the roll feeds correctly through the print roller. Also make sure the double ply roll paper is not loose coming off the roll that feeds to the print roller.
