It sounds like the controler is shot. Did someone let go of this controler in the middle of a game?

The Wii turns on but the remote won't connect to the screen...all lights working also, bought a new sensor bar and still nothing...???

Turn on the Wii console, when at the home screen press any button on the wii remote, if the lights on the wii remote remain dark then it needs new batteries.

If the lights all light up at the same time then stop this means you are not synced. Press the 1 and 2 buttons at the same time to sync, this will work if they have been synced before.

If your four lights still blink blue then you need to open the little compartment on the console that is right below the disc tray. Inside is a little red button, press the button. Now open your battery compartment on the wii remote and take out the battery, then press the red button inside. Put the battery back in and the controller should sync up. If you are still having trouble you will need to contact Nintenedo Technical Support.

Hope this helped!

Have not used for bout a year, i have no lights on the hand set, i have put in new batteries and still nothing

hi, try the following.
1 turn the wii on and wait for it to come on
2 open the flap where the sd card goes
3 take the back off the control where the batteries go
4 press the red button on back of control
5 press the red button on the wii next to the sd card slot

that should then sync them together and get them working.

if when you press the red button on the back of the control where the batteres nothing happens then change the batteries and if it still dont work then their is a fault with the control

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

please rate this solution and leave a testimonial as i have a whole page of unrated posts as people dont rate them, thanks

Wii Controllers not causing anything to happen.

OK so do led lights on the on the bottom of the controller just keep blinking or ever light up under "1" to signify that it is connected? What you do if they keep blinking is take off the battery cover on the remote and press the red button and the red button under the sd card cover at the same time. This syncs the wii remote with the console. You will need to do this with all new wii remotes.

Wiimote unresponsive to anything

Have you tried restarting the Wii and then synching the wii remote to the wii ?
Just below the disk loader is a hinge you can open to insert a sd card, There is a red button - Push it
Take the battery cover of the wii remote, their is a red button - push it
Push both buttons close together time wise

My wii controllers wont work

you dont have lights on any one of your controllers?
have you tried them with another console or another controller with your console? this way you can find out where the problem lies with either the controllers or the console. to me it sounds like the console is the problem. How long have you had the wii and did the conttrollers ever work?

When new batteries have been put in both controllers of the wii, indicator lights supposed to indecate power level of batteries instead of which all blue lights flash then stop and nothing happens, no...

If all the lights are coming on then going off again the controller needs to be synched with the wii. Once it is synchronized after all the indicator lights flash one should stay on indicating which player you are (1 -4)
To synch a controller to the wii:
Make sure the wii is in
Open the battery cover on the wiimote
Open the front panel of the wii
Press the synch button on the console
Press the red synch button on the wii mote
Should work for you.
