Dell Ax510 Ax510pa Soundbar Sound Bar Speakers For Dell Logo
Holly Ecclestone Posted on Sep 29, 2013

My Dell AX510 Soundbar Speaker isn't working, although the blue light is on, indicating it has power. I'm using a Dell monitor that is set up primarily for Playstation usage.

Ensure that the sound is actually supposed to be coming through the speakers. Just because the power is on doesn't mean that audio information is actually on it's way to the actual speakers. Maybe the television volume is low or muted, maybe the output volume is being routed somewhere else, or maybe the soundbar is broken. You should investigate and follow the signal to find the problem.

Why is my soundbar powered on but unresponsive?

There could be several reasons why your soundbar is unresponsive. It could be an issue with the remote, the device itself, or the power source. Here are some steps you can try:

Check the batteries in the remote to ensure they are working properly.

Check the connections between the soundbar and the TV to make sure they are secure.

Try unplugging the soundbar and plugging it back in to see if that resolves the issue.

If the problem persists, you may want to try a different power outlet to see if that makes a difference.

How do I replace sound bar on monitor?

Deb Powell,
Reverse the steps listed below. They are for connecting the sound bar.
1. Working from the rear of the monitor, attach the Soundbar aligning the two slots with the two tabs along the bottom rear of the monitor.
2. Slide the Soundbar to the left until it snaps into place.
3. Connect the Soundbar with the power brick.
4. Plug the power cables of the power brick into a nearby outlet.
5. Insert the lime-green mini stereo plug from the rear of the Soundbar into the computer's audio output jack.
NOTE: Soundbar Power Connector - 12V DC output is for optional Dell Soundbar only.
NOTICE: Do not use with any device other than Dell Soundbar.

How do I connect my Sharp HT-SB30 soundbar to Samsung UHD7500 TV

Should be able to use Bluetooth. Need to "pair" the devices (the TV and the soundbar). On soundbar, press On/Standby to power it on, press Input to select Bluetooth (pairing indicator blinks), press & hold pairing button until pairing indicator blinks quickly. Now go to the TV's setup menus: Sound > Speaker Settings > TV Speaker > SoundShare Settings, Add New Device=On, select the Sharp GT-SB30 from device list. If passcode, password, etc is needed, enter 4 zeros (0000). After the devices are paired. the pairing indicator on the soundbar should stop blinking. The pairing information should be retained so you only have to do this one time unless you do a full reset on the TV or soundbar.

How to remove a Zylux AX510 speaker from a computer monitor

Very difficult for a novice. Removing screws is the easy part, lifting off the case and getting access to the speakers is not too bad, but the internal wires and connections are short and if you yank on a wire it can break of and you messed up the entire system. Best you get a set of inexpensive speakers and substitute for the monitor speakers.
