On the back wall of the freezer is where the cooling coils are located behind the metal. At the bottom is the drain trough through which the water from defrost flows. This drain may be clogged with debris.
Mix some baking soda and warm water and pour it down the drain. You may also need to push a piece of wire (coat hanger) through it.

I would recommend that you remove the lower panel in the back of the freezer section and physically remove all visible debris. Pour a mixture made from a teaspoon of baking soda dissolved a 1/2 cup of warm water into the hole. Baking soda is excellent because it helps to break down the cell walls of plant matter and removes smells, too.

Then use a long piece of pipe cleaner to push any remaining debris down into the evaporation tray underneath the refrigerator. Coat hanger wire may be too inflexible to get all the way.

You have a plugged up defrost drain. There should be a drain hole way in back of the freezer, at the bottom. (it should be behind the panel at the back of the freezer compartment) Use a turkey baster with warm water to flush it out until water runs out the hole into the defrost drain pan under the refrigerator.

Water pools at bottom of freezer, freezes and water leaks out

Hello, this sounds like you have a blockage in the drain tube, remove bottom shelf from fridge and remove the styrofoam..you may see ice build up...melt ice with hair dryer/heat gun...you will see a pan below evaporator...melt ice in pan...dry water up in pan with paper towel...now you should see a hole in pan that leads to drain tube...pour some hot water in pan..wait a couple minutes..mop up water and repeat this step 2-3 times....once you have done this find some flexible curatain wire or electrical wire..poke down the hole until you see the water drain..now it is clear..put back panel back and you are good to go. The reason you see water in the Freezer is because the water has been leaking into the freezer instead of running into the drain hole...Please feel free to comment again if you need any further assistance. Refrigerator cooling but not real cold, freezer freezes ice but

***UNPLUG THE UNIT***
Take the cover off the back where the tubes go from the compressor into the freezer. If you can see into the freezer AT ALL, you have a mouse issue. Plug this hole with expanding foam. If you're getting room air into the freezer and your door seals aren't coming apart, it's usually from the rear. Make sure to melt all ice that formed in the bottom of the freezer before you plug it back in.

Your defrost drain line is clogged and frozen over with ice.
Turn off the fridge. Remove the bottom freezer drawer. Take a hair dryer and thaw the drain hole at the back bottom section of the freezer. After you defrost the drain line pour 1/4 cup bleach into the drain hole.

Water in bottom of refrigerator coming from freezer (not really sure of the exact model as I'm not home to double check).

If water appears on the floor in front of the refrigerator once or twice a day, it could be due to a clog in the defrost drain tube. The usual evidence of a clogged drain in a side-by-side refrigerator is ice under the bottom basket in the freezer compartment, in addition to a puddle of water on the floor. I have water pooling on my fridge trays and than turning into ice . The water seems to be coming from the vents. How do i get rid of that.

The freezer compartment has a drain hole behind the back wall inside the freezer compartment. The drain hole has probably rusted and has gotten larger. Carefully remove the icemaker and the screws from the back wall inside the freezer compartment. Lift the bottom of the back wall and look to see if the drain hole has gotten larger. You can make a small funnel from an aluminum can to fit over this area directing the water into the drain tube. It worked for me. good luck. Dave.
