Do you use it a lot? Do you need it? Boot into safe mode (if possible) and use msconfig to disable it to see if that will allow your system to start correctly. If it does, and you don't actually need it, Go to the following link and download the uninstaller to remove it.

How do I solve a problem with starting up windows in my hp pavilion g6? Whenever I start windows a blue screen appears and the computer restarts.

Sounds like your hard drive has either failed, come disconnected, or someone performed a full format of the drive which wiped out the partitions or the boot sector of the drive. Worst case you will need to replace drive and purchase reinstall disk from hp. Best case you will only need to purchase reinstall disk from hp. If you do need a new drive, I recommend purchasing it from hp directly, as it will already be prepared with hps proprietary boot configuration files which must be present for hardware to be recognized by system bios.

Why do I keep getting anerror message the display driver has stopped working but has now restarted?

This message informs you exactly what it says. Something has caused the display driver to crash, but instead of taking down the whole operating system, the system just restarts it, and informs you. Check with the HP website to see if you have the latest display drivers for your system.

Hp support assistant 'how to fix'

Remove it. Click Start/Control Panel and look for Programs and Features, or Programs (depends on your operating system). Uninstall the HP Support Assistant. It's not needed, just a bloated program on your system.

APPCRASH error please help

When program files or files within your computer's registry have become corrupted, this can cause the programs to unexpectedly crash. When a program crashes, you will likely get an Appcrash error. The error message will say "Windows Media Player (or whichever program has crashed) has stopped working" and then list rows of technical information regarding the cause of the crash. Unless you are a computer programmer, you may never fully understand what caused your program crash, but that doesn't mean that you can't fix it.
Delete any new programs that you have downloaded. Often, the cause of corruption in a computer system are bad downloads that bring harmful files onto your computer. If you started to get the Appcrash error on your system after downloading a new program or software from the Internet, it's highly likely you have downloaded a bad product. Use the "Add/Remove Programs" feature in your "Control Panel" to get rid of the program immediately.
Uninstall the program that is crashing. It is possible to fix the program's corrupted files while the program is still installed, but to make sure that you clear the program files completely, it is safest to completely uninstall it from the system.
Run a full scan of your computer. Your computer should already have antivirus software installed that can scan for corrupted files and either fix them or delete them from your system. If you do not have antivirus software on your computer, that could be a big part of the problem. Purchase and install antivirus software as soon as possible. These are designed tor from outside threats. Once you have the antivirus program installed, open it and click "Scan Computer." The antivirus scan will isolate bad files and you will be given the option to remove them from your system.
  1. Reinstall the program that was crashing. Now that the corrupted files have all been removed, your program should run smoothly after reinstallation.
  2. Check for program incompatibility. If, after a thorough scan and cleaning of your computer and reinstallation of your program, the Appcrash errors continue, the program you are trying to use may not be compatible with your program. For instance, there are some DVD softwares, such as Media Now, that do not work correctly with Windows Vista. These lists can be easily found online. If this is the case, you will have to purchase a software program that is compatible with your OS
You should download a program such as RegCure and run it from time to time. If you are unable to download a copy let me know and I will give you a link on my web where you can download it.

My tx2500z crashed today and wont start anymore

It could have happened due to an electrical surge . And the system board or the fuse box has to be changed . Customers are requested to buy extended service packs when offered. They helo you in a lot of ways . Even if you were in warranty it would not help because that comes under the accidental damage .

My computer (HP Pavilion Entertainment laptop) keeps giving me a blue screen saying it is "crash dumping". This happens mainly when I try and download something. It won't allow me to download any...

This could be caused by a corrupted operating system, a virus or a faulty memory card. You may first try to restore your computer to a date when you think it last allowed you to download something. See if it works.

To run system restore, go to start>all programs>accessories>system restore.

Hard drive.

since that it crashed, it is more practical that you reformat it, rather than buying new one. it is the system crashed not the whole hard disk and there is a great chance of reviving it , you have the recovery disk with you, then better use it than buying.

have a nice day
