have a problem in Tally 7.2 version. When I select a particular company
and try to insert a voucher or try to modify a voucher an error message
appears "Error! Exiting Tally! File Name C:\tall\data\003\Tr01310.500
Size 65024 Position 65024 Chars 128 (Done 0). Please help me solve this

Rewrite data for a Company
you need to rewrite the data please shut the company first and then press ctrl+alt+r and then select the company to rewrite data might lost not complete but few so please take the back up of the company first before doing it. The other thing you can try is to delete the tsm files from the data folder by providing in the search box *.tsm these are the temp files of tally
1)Start Tally and at Company Info Screen press Ctrl + Alt + R then select the corrupt company and press enter to start rewrite process. 2)If it does not worked then there is another method for rewrite:- Click Start > Run > Type ’C:\(Tally 7.2 directory name)\Tally72.EXE C:\(Tally Data path)[space]/ then press enter for Eg: c:\tally7.2\tally72.exe c:\tally7.2\data / after pressing enter tally will get open and at company info screen press Ctrl + Alt + R then select the corrupt company. to solve this type of problem first of all take backup of your tally data then right click on ur tally icon on desktop go to properties then click on findtargate open ur tally configuration file see the line
load comony=yes (change yes into no) save the file & exit start ur tally pres ctr+alt+r selct the company which was giving error press enter tally will ask to rewrite the company press y to yes let the finish rewrite task then start working on tally
