Seatronix1 is correct use NMEA for the connection. Set your waypoint in the furuno, hit auto on the 8002 then track track. The 8002 will ack with next waypoint at xxxx then hit track again.

The st8002 is not compatble with rs232 data. You need to supply it with nmea 0183 data. You will need to wire it to the "NMEA port IN" on the pilot to NMEA out on your Furuno and turn on the mnea sentances "out" on your Furuno. You will need to turn on at least the following sentances GGA GLL RMB RMC.Hope that helps.

What is the connection path from Garmin 72 to raymarine c80, using NMEA 1083

I'm taking this as you want to send the gps information to your C80 not receive from the C80? If this is the case the brown wire on the garmin is the nmea data out +. The Black wire is considered nmea out neg (-) of the garmin. So hook the garmin brown to the white on the raymarine. Hook the black from the garmin to the green on the raymarine. That means you are outputting lat/long info to the raymarine from the garmin.

Connection to PC for Nav software

Assuming you have GPS input to your 1732 (i.e. GP310/320 sensor), you'll need a 7 pin NMEA data cable (000-154-028) wired to a D-sub 9 pin (serial) plug. The shield goes to pin 5, blue to #3, & white to #2. Jumper pins 7 & 8 together. The 7 pin cable goes to Data port 3 of the 1732.

Trying to connect a furuno fcv-585 to a raymarine a-65 via nmea with difficulty !!

Just remember this tip Nmea out + goes to NMEA in + and so on. After that you have to make sure the unit is set up to send those sentences and or receive them. Aside from that it should be pretty easy. However if you hook them up wrong you may blow the port (you won't know that you did it either) No smoke no nothing it just wont pass or receive data.

Connect Furuno 1732 to st8002 autopilot

It will handle the voltage. as far as the wiring goes, you'll have to decide which port to use. the wire coloring is different. you'll have to send your nmea out data from port 3 white and shield ( Like you said) to the pilot and receive your heading data from the pilot on port 2.
