Dear rdneckchick2,
Don't worry! Your Windows has the capability to remember the last time windows work for you..
It's very easy.. Follow these...
Turn on your computer, just before the boot screen appear, quickly press the 'F8' button on your keyboard and then you will see the list of options to choose...

try to find "The last good known that windows work" (use your up/down arrow button)

Then press 'Enter'... Wait and you will see your computer work on the last time you log on. On this stage, try to clean your system use start>all program>accesories>system tools>disk clean up.

Please use caution on each dialog box and decide what best for you!

Good Luck!

Winlogon.exe
Winlogon.exe is a part of Windows Login System. As suggested by its name, this process is responsible for handling login and logout procedures on your computer. Primarily though, it is concerned with the following functions:
  • Managing secure attention sequence
  • Loading user profile
  • Locking the system while Screen Saver is activated
  • Providing easy access to Windows station and desktop
Csrss.exe
Csrss.exe is a user-mode program belonging to the Microsoft Client/Server Runtime Server Subsystem. It is a critical piece of software responsible for managing threads and creating console windows. Furthermore, it is also thrown the crucial duty of controlling operations of the Win32 subsystem not belonging to the kernel mode.
A STOP 0xC000021A message is generated when either of these processes fails to execute. Upon detecting this bizarre dilemma, Windows NT kernel halts the system and raises the BSOD error. Following is a list of common causes leading to the failure:
  • Mismatched system files have been installed
  • A Service Pack installation has failed
  • Incompatible third-party software has been added
  • Unsupported drivers are housed in the system

Many errors surface soon after you install new hardware or software because conflicts often occur between the new product and previously installed components. To put an end to such messages, you might be able to uninstall the program or hardware (and hardware drivers) and then restart your computer to an errorless state.

If you do find that removing a new product eliminates errors, you might have to do some research to figure out the source of the conflict before you can reinstall the new product. Check the manufacturer's Web site for updated drivers, search support areas for known conflicts, and contact technical support for assistance. Sometimes tech support gurus can help you tweak a setting to end software conflicts.

Let it finish. Developing new computing habits can also limit the number of error messages you see. When you first start up your PC, let the hard drive come to a complete stop before starting a task; this lets your computer load all necessary drivers and operating system components necessary for efficient and error-free operation. The same concept works for your other programs. Let each program start up or shut down completely before you move on to another job.

Printer wont print at all

lizzie,

unplug the printer from the computer, then delete it from printers and faxes, then try to uninstall EVERYTHING that has anything to do with your printer. once you've done that go to your program files and delete the folders that would have anything to do with your model printer (canon folder/epson foler etc etc) after youve restarted, while the printer is still unplugged, install the driver, then restart your computer, once youve restarted go ahead and plug in the printer to the computer. if you still have trouble after that please give me specific error numbers if any.

thanks,

Printer cannot communicate with the computer

With the Lexmark printers communication subsystem you MUST let the driver ask for you to plug in the printer. DO NOT plug the printer into the USB port until told to do so.

To fix a fouled install:
(1) Uninstall the Lexmark drivers in Add Remove Programs
(2) Shutdown the computer
(3) Disconnect the printer from the USB port
(4) Restart the computer
(5) Run the Driver Installation software
(6) Cancel ALL attempts by windows to auto install the printer
(7) When the software asks for the printer connect it and continue

There are several ways to resolve printer spooler error, probably because there are many variations of this error. The error caused by faulty software can be resolved by deleting all the information found in the directory. Thereafter, navigate to the Control Panel, click on Administrative Tools and then services icon. Find the service labeled Print Spooler, highlight it and restart the process. If that doesn’t work, the program might be corrupted. Click on start, then Run. Search for the document labeled services.msc, and this will trigger the opening of another window. On this window, scroll down and click “Print Spooler”. Check its setting and turn on automatic mode. Click Okay, and restart the machine. If you’re lucky, this might be all you have to do. Still doesn’t work? Navigate to the Add/Remove Programs screen of the Control Panel. Find the all the software responsible for making the printer run including the drivers, and uninstall them. Be sure to be thorough about it, or the problem may not be solved.
