  3. Are you using a Netgear brand wireless router? Our expeirence shows disabling the "SPI Firewall" of the router may help the connection. The "SPI Firewall" option is typically found under the "WAN Setup" tab of the router's settings. If you are using the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector, and have a software firewall or other computer security program installed on your computer, there may be additional steps you must complete to allow a successful connection.
      "Trusted" Applications:
If your firewall or PC security program keeps a list of trusted applications (also known as a "trusted zone"), the following programs are installed with the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector, and require internet communications. If prompted by your firewall or PC security program, add these to the list of trusted applications. AppName: msfeedssync.exe, AppVer: 8.0.6001.18702, ModName: user32

Antivirus and firewall prevent msfeedssync to connect.

You can use next 3 solutions (hope this help you):
NOTE: Before using ones of the next 3 solutions. You can test disabling your Anti-virus and check if the error occurs, if yes, then disable you firewall. But only for testing, AFTER test enable both AV and FW and select the solution from above that suits you better.

1. Disable the app:
Run CMD
and type: msfeedssync disable

2. Disable automatic update in IE
Internet Options - Content - Content Advisor -
"Sources” “Configuration” and disable “Search..."

3. Configure your Anti-virus and Firewall.
It depend of your software used, for the firewall you need to allow connections for msfeedssync.exe located in, C:\Windows\System32

Socket error 11004 !!!!

Hey...I tell you a fact. Outlook is really a nice software for email management but still i am sad that its poor in handling Internet Connections. Actually, all data transfer takes place using SOCKET networking and Outlook is not nicely programmed to work with various kind of internet connections.

So, for the solution of this I suggest you to use MS Office's Outlook which is far better than Window's default OUTLOOK EXPRESS. And surely your emails will be processed in better way then.

Rate this solution if it was helpful to you...
