Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional for PC
Hi, I'm not able to view one of my hidden folder in windows XP. please share your solutions on the same. Reg, Divy
For xp users:-
go to system registry.......click start then run and type regeditthenfind this key HKEY_ LOCAL_MACHINE software microsoft windowscurrentversion explorer advanced folder hidden showall
in your rightpane show it DWORD key of CheckedValue delete it.....andcreate newDWORD key and give the name CheckedValue and enter 1 intovaluedata.......
restart your pc..........i hope its work fine....

Discovered (and verified) that the problem was "Free Hide Folder 1.8" which, after you install it and reboot, causes all other Windows files and folders (that were marked "hidden") to completely DISAPPEAR!!! And, any file or folder that you create after FHFv1.8 is installed (and that you mark as "hidden") will suddenly disappear as well. Great programming.
