Yellow warning light flashes, indicating a paper jam. Checked for jam but there was none. Brother tech support said was a bad sensor.
Makes clicking noise when trying to print, then the yellow light comes on.
Can I disable this sensor? The repair of this problem costs almost as much as a new unit.
-   I have the same problem also. There was a paper jam- approximately one inch of the paper was left in the roller and it was pulled out manually, in tact. The status light turned red and the paper light is blinking amber. I have shut the printer off overnight, restarted all computers, removed all paper trays, removed toner assembly and can not find anything that could be causing the false error code?-   troggeman

I printed labels from WordPerfect to a Brother HL-5370DW using the manual tray. I manually changed settings back to AutoSelect, to Tray 1, and also used Default button. Everything from WordPerfect still goes to the manual tray. In all other programs, it works fine.
