Question about Whirlpool SF367 Gas Kitchen Range
Hello folks i have a whirlpool gas range about a year and a half old. the oven or broil will not lite , but the stove top burners will lite. there is just one igniter board for all ignitions. i believe i think it is the probe that is the problem. there are no broken wires or loose connections the stove looks brand new. if im correct when you push the bake cycle and if the probe is calling for heat it should send a ignition and gas until satisfied ( the same for the broiler). as i said there is only one ignition board and the only thing common is the probe.
Your probably right. The oven sensor, or what you call a probe, when open will not light the oven. Take it out and check for 1 to 1.5K ohms. at room temp. if you don't have that replace the sensor.
