My 3000 watt honda generator doesn't seem to put out the proper power

I would check spark arrester and clean it and the muffler could be the inverter unit. If you have a meter determine the output voltage, and freq. You would need a scope to look at waveform the repair should be lest to a repair center. suggest you call Honda for more guidance.
You could spend a lot of money on maybe parts./

I have a powerback 5250 watt generator that I would like to hook up to my RV however my RV is 30 amp and my generator is 20 amp and I want to power my A/C unit. Please help

Not knowing the specifics of either my experience has been that if you use your gas water heater instead of electric 20 amps will generally get you buy, your AC probably only pulls 14 15 amp when starting up other facilities are very low amperage so try just not running both AC and Water Heater and Microwave at the same time.
