Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
HP P3005x Printer It hang up in the start up, giving a message "DIMM failure, replace DIMM", sometimes it works fine but only for few minutes and then it hang up again! I tried to upgrade the firmware but the same problem appeared. what's the problem?
The DIMM is a removable memory chip installed for adding additional memory. You'll have to replace it. Look in your manual for how to change the DIMM. You can usually remove it and see if the printer works. If you don't see the message again, then you should replace the chip.
