I am unable to turn the Alert/Siren on. It indicates it is OFF. I have a desktop weather radio that receives the weekly test signal but the Vector does not due to being off.
Any ideas. I do not have an instruction manual.

Solution:
Turn the radio on and then press:
1. Menu button and scroll to Alert.
2. Press Channel/Snooze button to the right of the menu button which will display one of the following: Voice/Siren/or Off.
3. Then use the menu button to select between Voice/Siren/or Off.
3. After making your selection, press the Memory button to the left of the menu button. This completes the programming of the alert function.
Example: If "Siren" is displayed on the LCD screen and you push the Memory button to the left of the menu button, when a weather alert is broadcast the siren tone will sound and the appropriate yellow or red light will activate. If "OFF" is displayed on the LCD screen and the memory button is pushed, the alert will not activiate.
