Frequently the print spooler is stopped automatically. What is the problem.
Kindly suggest.Now I am starting the print spooler manually and taking print everytime.

If you are using Windows Vista, maske sure you download and install updated drivers. Other than that, use a USB rather than parallel port connection and check your antivirus and firewall settings. You can always call Samsung for support at 1-800-samsung.

I open the run command you can type: net start spooler (You will get a message that says the print spooler service has started) If you still have issues open the run command and type: services.msc it will display a list, where you can find print spooler.
From there you can right-click on it and set it so it is started and runs automatically.
HOW TO CHECK AND FIX PRINT SPOOLER SERVICE THAT CAUSES UNABLE TO PRINT FILE
Print spooler service is a computer service that loads the print jobs into the printer memory for later printing and it acts as intermediary between a computer and a printer. When the print spooler service is stopped or malfunction, printing is not possible.
Here are the possible reasons :
1. Virus or Malware infection.
2. Spooler service was stop by accident or turn off to manual/disable mode.
3.Faulty installed printer driver that contains error or incompatible with previous printer drivers installed in your computer or system.
4. Print jobs and drawing jobs were corrupted by accident which caused print que lock and resulting print spooler service to crash.
5. Your printer had printing problem issue with pdf files.
To fix this problem, you have to check if the print spooler service had stop.
Here's how to check and fix the print spooler service.
Go to START Choose RUN Type SERVICES.MSC Click on PRINT SPOOLER and check if the STATUS IS STARTED If not, on the upper left side, click on STOP to stop the spooler service Then click on RESTART to restart the spooler Restart your printer and your computer Then try to print again and it will surely solve your printing problem.
Another procedure :
Go to START Right click on DOS command prompt and run as administrator You should be in this command directory before you Type CMD and be sure you are in this directory C:Windows\System32 And if not, type this to change the directory, CHDIR C:Windows\System32 Type NET STOP SPOOLER and message will appear like this
Exit and go to C: DRIVE Choose WINDOWS and click show content if not view all the folder files Choose SYSTEM32 Choose SPOOL Choose printer and delete printing jobs if any Again right click on Command prompts and run as administrator Type NET START SPOOLER Exit and restart your printer and your computer I will works fine right now.
NOTE : You can bypass the C:Drive procedure and just type NET STOP SPOOLER AND NET START SPOOLER in the DOS COMMAND PROMPT if you believe that there are no printing jobs pending.

This sounds like a spooler problem on Windows. Make sure the Print Spooler service is enabled.

Go to start, control panel, administrative tools, services. Under services scroll down until you find Print Spooler. Under status it should say "Started". Right click on Print Spooler and select Properties. There are buttons on this page. Under Service Status if it says "stopped", click on the start button to start the service.Also, under startup type, it should say "automatic". If it does not, select automatic from the drop down box. Click on Apply and then ok.
Go into Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services, Scroll down and highlight Print Spooler, Double click Print Spooler, and ensure Startup Type is Automatic, and that the Service Status is Started. If it is Stopped, then Click Start, then OK to exit. If it doesn't Start, try rebooting your computer, then confirming the above settings.
On the right side of the services window, scroll down to "Print Spooler". Double-click it.
If startup type is "disabled", click the drop-down and set to "Automatic" and then click "Start". If already on automatic, click "Stop" to stop the service. Once stopped, click "Start" to restart the service.
if u not getting print due to " Spooler subsystem app has stopped working " Error then go to Run---->type "services.msc"------->u get services console----------->select "Print Spooler"go to propriety ---------->check start-up type ------>if it is disable select automatic &press start for get start (if it is alredy started then get service stop & after get start with automatic )
if there is problem in printing due to Spooler it should be resolved
