Can 80GB HDD be connected to KOB 810 DSMT motherboard

Hi, Mother Board - KOB 810 DSMT Currently this motherboard is connected with 20GB HDD, as it's boot sector is gone bad, Can 80GB HDD be connected to this Motherboard. pls reply

After Connecting 80GB/160 GB HDD machine faild to start


Put the new drive in as a "Slave" format it into NFTS
or whatever you are using

Have a copy of your Operating System disk at hand including serial numbers

Also a copy of the Motherboard disk as this will have all of the drivers on it that the new install will need.

Disconnect your 20GB drive

Change the jumper on the back of the 80GB one to say Master then install the OS.

When that is done install the motherboard disk to sort out your drivers etc

If your 20GB is working why not just leave it in and use the 80GB as a storage area that way you do not have to do a re-install

maybe your RAM doesnt fit each other, check the series, PC, or even the vendor,...if it is not working try to format your PC, or maybe one of your RAM is broken
