If you have a manual that came with your PC - try looking there first or you can download manual via manufacturers site

When you pull the wire up does it increase the right ear bud volume/ sound? If it does, then it means the right side ear bud has a short within the head phones circuit which is aka the wire that leads to the musical device in which the ear buds branch off from.

If the right side ear bud does not produce an increased volume for sound by picking the wire up or pulling it in towards you or to the left side of your body or musical device then it means that the right speaker is blown.

I know that all head phones come spiced together aka they are stuck together and have to be pulled apart in order to get both head phones seperated from each other so that they can be worn in the ears. If you pulled the wire apart to much or too quickly then that is what ruined the right head phone.

I suggest that regardless if the ear phones begin to work by pulling the wire up,side ways, or into towards your body that you return them back to the store since after awhile the problem will eventually continue to happen causing the right ear bud to completely blow. Once you return the ear phones be cautious with the new set when you seperate the ear buds from each other since they are very touchy and have to be handled with delicateness when seperation is taking place.

Please let me know how it works out for you. I have had many ear buds and I tell ya something; they are very easy to blow one side when seperating. I had to learn after a few pairs that I was ruining the speakers by the way I was seperating my wires. I kept thinking for the first 3 pairs that the store was selling blown ear buds until I began having same problems with another few stores so I said to myself "well the solution is to figure out what I am doing wrong in order to blow one side of my ear buds every time". After few seconds it was not that obvious that all I had to do for assembly was to pull the wires apart in order to get both ear buds to go into my ears.

The factory coolant temp sensor had 3 wires an a aftermarket on as 2 how do i hook it up.

you bought the wrong sensor
there car 3 types used on many engines.
and there are many GM engine options, every year.
so did you buy it in a store, o r online,?

most online buyer need to know what they are ordering.
(yes, buying parts can be a horror, for anyone.)
that is because online is not indexed by VIN, (dolts)
Some stores, list 2 of 5 engines and stupidly assume there are just 2. this really ges my goat.... end rant.
in a real store they ask for VIN, on GM there is a RPO sticker
in the glove box.and has engine code right there. (a build list)
some times the VIN gets it right the engine code there,, but not always.

the 3 sender are. (circa 98) ECT, dash guage, and A/C over heat.
post the engine size,.vin # or rpo sticker photo.

when you see the 3 wire, that usually means the sensor covers
2 temp senders in one. and is wrong for you.
try using smp cat. 2.4l or 4.3L it shows.
i looked there and both engines are 2 pins. 1998
tell me brand of sensor and box pn, and ill tell you every engine it fits
or go to rockauto, and do same.

i looked and not one 3pin ,just 2 and the 1pin gauge sender
if you have different engine. than the 2 listed above. all bets off.

98 chevy pu, pulls slightly to right then it will correct itself and jerks to right, will wander on the road, replaced sensor on end of steering shaft. helped but did not correct. tires wearing very well,...

Some chevys have a sensor on the powersteering pump which can cause erratic steering..Not sure about your model..Look on the pump and see if you have a wire connector..

Can u install afire wire card into a compaq presario c700

Yes, but it needs to be a Firewire PCMCIA card. If you do not have a spare PCMCIA slot then you need to remove the other PCMCIA device so you can insert the Firewire PCMCIA card when you need it.

My lcd panel not properly work .is this changable

This is most likely an inverter problem. This is kind of like the ballast in electric light. If you shine a flash light at the screen, can you see a faint image of whats displayed on the screen? If so, you have a bad inverter. You can find them on eBay for around $5. Just type the name of your computer in the search thing followed by the word inverter. Such as "Compaq dv2500 inverter". Once you have the new inverter, remove all screws from around the screen. they are usually under the rubber feet or round stickers. Once the screws are out pull the bezel off from around the screen. There are clips holding it in place, which usually come apart when you kinda twist the bezel. Looking at the bottom of the screen, you will see a long narrow board with a wire sticking out of both ends. THis is the inverter. Is you computer off? I hope so, because you can get a nasty jolt from the right side of that board if its on. From here it should be pretty easy to replace the board. Just remove the screws, pull the wires and put the new one in.

Windows 98 changing from dialup to high speed

You can do this, but I would not recommend it. Windows 98 is very susceptible to malware. You can get things just by going to the wrong website. These are called drive by downloads. It will get very slow from all of the malware running on the system very fast.

Look into downloading a Linux distribution like Ubuntu, or PCLinuxOS. You will be able to find a linux distro that will fit on your old computer and be very secure. Look at Distrowatch for many more options.

It is not possible to use Windows 98 on the Internet and remain secure. If you post the model/serial number of the compaq computer, or its stats then we could tell you if you can upgrade it to XP or Windows 2000, but this may not be practical on older equipment.
