The lowest resolution is not always supported. by the range maybe referring to the frequency. change that, that should work. if you are not sure, look at your monitors manual, it will tell you resolution as well as frequency optimal settings

Remove banner "input not support" in 19" wide LCD 917Vw monitor. i am working different operating systems development some i try to excute some work this banner will appear pls help me..

You PC video setting is too high for the monitor to support, you need to set the PC resolution to 1440 x 900 @60Hz, try that first. Here is the spec for your monitor: http://reviews.cnet.com/lcd-monitors/aoc-917sw-lcd-display/4507-3174_7-33109821.html?tag=mncolBtm;rnav
Unless there are problemswith the logic board in the monitor if the resolution is already set correctly.

Hi...my AOC 17" CRT monitor display on the screen says NOT SUPPORTED OUT OF RANGE... i try to change the screen resolution by using other monitor but still nothings happen..

Change to the lowest settings you can on the other monitor, then connect the 17" CRT. If you can see anything, go to display settings and slowly bring the settings up. If you lose the display, press "n" (there is a dialog box asking if you want to keep the settings, y or n). Most likely it is a refresh rate that is set to high. Try setting this to 60 Hz for starters.

Hope this helps.

Monitor

This means that the signal from the computer can not be understood by the monitor. Have you changed the screen resolution recently? Try lowering the resolution. If you can not see the screen, boot the system in safe mode. That uses the lowest resolution and can be seen on all monitors and that should allow you to confirm that the monitor is working.
