Question about Altec Lansing ADA 885 Computer Speakers
Can I hook up my ada 885 to my dvd player& my flat screen?
Yes, it will even attach directly using a coax SPDIF cable. That is the best way to connect it. No distortion at all through the cable. Most DVD players have a coax SPDIF output, and the ADA885 has a ditto input. You can just use any single wire of a double cable it necessary, it will not interfere.

Yes. They are essentially Similar to any other 120 Watt Surround System for Home Entertainment. The Fact is, the only major difference is that the connections are different. On The PC it uses Stereo Standard Outputs. On Your DVD Player, It Will most Likely require an adapter to RCA (red/white -usually- Audio Cables). It just depends on your DVD Player. Have Fun!..... :)
