Is your pc volume turned up, if so you say you had your pc fixed did they do an upgrade or anything like that if so then they may have altered your sound settings or not even installed the sound drivers.
first check that the sound is on and the speakers are plugged into the correct socketon the pc,
If this is ok then check to make sure your drivers are nstalled and using the sound card you have installed you will have to goto control panel then double click on the sound button check to make sure making sure your speakers are enabled, And check your properties you shouls see your sound card listed in the properties section.
Hi dinesh130869. I believe you are using an external webcam right? because i dont believe that model has a built-in webcam. First do you hear the "tutin" sound when you connect USB devices on your computer? If you don't that means there's a hardware problem with the camera and you need to replace it. If you DO hear it, you can try going to the manufacture's website and download the latest drivers. If you did this already and still no luck, then there's a problem with the camera for sure. Sounds like the settings in the skype are wrong, you need to go into the tools - settings or properties. test the video there make sure you see yourself there, if you don't see yourself in the skype video settings page then its not working, also go to the sound settings, make sure the green bar moves when you speak, if it does not move the settings are wrong, you need to select the right microphone from the available on ths list there on the audio settings page in skype.
i was using skype reguraly daily today i could not hear any thing the other side can hear me from my mic. tried also to run any sound track but could not hear any thing either.
