First Check your Speakers are on then Check that your sound is not set on mute mode if you not satisfied then check you sound lead is connected properly to your CPU if its not solved then unistall the sound driver from control panel from add or remove programs and then reinstall the audio driver again. And now you not heard sound pick up your CPU and Speaker and throw it on the grabage.
Thanks

Please help me,my problem is here windows media player was not function or cannot to play, my mother board is NVIDIA GeFORCE 2 MX/MX 400 LG IBM,I used operating system windows Xp service pack 3

you will need to either install a codec pack to play properly or reinstall the media player itself.

You may also try VLC player that supports a lot of different formats

Asus model k40IJ. playing movie in media player no sound coming out also tried playing in VLC player but when i startup my computer there is no sound coming out. help please.thanks

First you have check no yor BIOS that your internal sound card is enabled or disabled and then check on your device whether it's being detected

If your system detects it then you need drivers for the sound card

Only my 3gp file havbing no sound but the other media player file having

I'd reccomend getting a Kodec pack. Try K-Lite mega codec pack they are free and will allow your computer to play just about any media file. Also try VLC Media player, its a great media player that will play just about any file, I'd reccomend using it and the K-Lite mega codec pack.

The yellow mark indicates that no driver is installed properly, you need get latest mother board audio driver from manufacter site. As long as yellow mark is existing media player will not play. You don't have any problem
