Question about Archos 604 Digital Media Player
Remove the battery. Take a small pointed object such as a toothpick and press down on the tiny gold dot that says reset. Put the battery back onto the unit and power it back on. Hopefully that helps. If the unit powers back on and asks you to repair the hard drive. Select option one and do not turn the unit off until it is finished. I recommend connecting the unit to your computer via USB to keep it powered on in case of battery failure. If the HDD repair is interrupted, it is possible to completely ruin your unit. Good luck!
