I have windows vista and i can't install it in my PC because it requires windows xp and below. it is said that the program is not compatible with windows vista what should i do?

Uppgrade to xp pack 2 put the xp cd to cdrm choose the uppgrade and wait to finish install

Wow, I hate to necro an old thread here, but seeing as how there is no answer I will chime in here.

You need to change your file associations. This process varies from one OS version to the next so follow the links below for your respective Windows version. I will include XP since I know plenty of people still cling to that to this day.

I use Windows 10 which does not have Media Center, so I know that walkthrough does not help you. However, it may help others with similar file association issues.

Min System Requirements for Tom Tom Navigator are as below:-

Windows 2000, XP, Vista, or Windows 7 (newest servicepacks required)
Pentium III or higher
256 MB RAM, 512 recommended
Internet connection (Broadband - DSL/cable/LAN) for downloading updates, maps or services
The TomTom HOME software is a 20MB download requiring 50MB of disk space when installed

For NAVIGATOR 6 devices, the system requirements for Windows are:

Windows XP, 2000, Vista or Windows 7 (newest servicepacks required)
500 MHz processor or better
128 MB RAM

You can download the Video Controller Driver from the below link. Please click the link below the appropriate Operating System to download the Driver. Once downloaded, please double click on the file to begin the installation. Please make sure that you restart the Computer after installing the Driver in the Computer.

I need step by step directions on how to install a replacement HDD on my HP dm3-1130us

type into youtube what you want to doand they should have a few videos there heres a link on the site you will need to reinstall your operating system when you do this ill give you another link on how to install xp and vista this is xp this is vista which is the same install as windows 7 or you can type inot hpw to install xp vista or windows 7 hope this helps good luck

Vista doesn't recognize DVD

Your program Print Workshop 2008 is not compatible with Vista. That is why you cannot install it on the PC. Here are the details for the program direct from there website.

(1) go to - load load the necessary Xp drivers for your unit - burn them to cd - then aquire a replacement hdd - install Xp on that - install the required drivers and walla you have one hdd with vista and another with XP

Software won't work with vista

Uninstall Windows Vista. Do a fresh install of Windows XP Professional Sp2. Download XP drivers and install camera. Many software programs have trouble initializing in Windows Vista. Good luck!
