Re: To Resize the shape drawn on Movie Clip..

You can press ctrl+alt+s keys, and in the dialog box that appears give values greater than 100 to expand the shape or give values to contract the shape.

On a newpaper ad, I try to upload a picture of a model, and the proof shows the head & feet cut off. How do I adjust the photo so it fits nicely in the ad?

If you have Adobe Photoshop, use it to "clip" and "resize" the picture.
If you want free software to "clip" and "resize" images, see ("The Graphic Image Manipulation Program"). Download and install The Gimp -- it's _free_ software.

Loading movie

var loadListener:Object = new Object();
loadListener.onLoadInit = function(target_mc:MovieClip):Void {;
var mcLoader:MovieClipLoader = new MovieClipLoader();
var mc:MovieClip = this.createEmptyMovieClip("mc", this.getNextHighestDepth());
mcLoader.loadClip("ani.swf", mc);

Page roptate

1. Make them as indiviual movie clips, with cyclic motion sequence with autoplay
2. Catch the mouse over the clip event to stop playing
3. Catch the mouse click event of the clip to open the link

* U may also have the data and links in separate files and rotate them with time, by another script :)

Have a nice time

Was my suggestion helpful???

you have to make a separate nested animation (try to avoid tweening by having everything as symbols) and place/drop that movie into the mouse hover event of the intended button...

DuplicateMovieClip command

Don't write the code inside the movie clip. Also use the following code. I've added one more line which will move your duplicated movie clip 100 pixels right so that you can view both.

setProperty("_root.one1_mc", _xscale, "30");
setProperty("_root.one1_mc", _x, getProperty("_root.one1_mc",_x)+100);

Hotw to create...

1.  Convert all of your small pics into movie clips and name them as scroll1_mc, scroll2_mc, etc.
2.  Select all the movie clips and convert them to a single movie clip and call it as scrollGroup_mc.
3. Again convert the scrollGroup_mc to a movieclip and call it as scroll_mc.
3.  Now, double click the scroll_mc, and create your tween (in your favorite direction) using scrollGroup_mc.
4. Now, attach the following code in the root's timeline. (Make sure that you should not inside of any movieclip)

Likewise, you can add this code to scroll2_mc, scroll3_mc etc.

My best advice for these things is instead of repeating the code for all movie clips, you can use OOPS concepts to extend the movie clip class.

Action script

I tried your script and it all checked out fine when I ran it. Make sure you click on the first frame of layer action and open the Action Script Panel (F9). Once this is accomplished. Click on the second frame of layer action and press F6 key. Like I said everything worked out when I tried using the script you posted so, if anything I would suggest starting from scratch.
