I have a "crack" that runs to my power button that lights up blue when it's plugged in. Well, recently when I plug in my computer, the crack doesn't light up so it's not getting power and won't turn on. I also have a related issue where I guess I put the battery back in wrong and it doesn't always recognize it. But because it's jammed in wrong I can't get the lever to pull back to release it!
This all happened last week and then it magically started turning on again. But now it's happening again. We tried a 2nd power cord that adapts to any computer, and it works on my husband's laptop, so it can't be the power cord.
I had a similar issue once and they had me remove the battery and hold down the power button for 30 sec to drain off excess charge or something and it worked. But I just tried that it it doesn't do anything...
One last piece of info: lately if I leave my computer on for a while it makes a vroom sound. It's only 1 1/2 years old!
Is there any hope? Do I need to buy a new computer? Thank you for your help!!!

My blue tooth device is not working. When I try to install the blue tooth software the system couldn't find any blue tooth hardware in my notebook. But according to the configeration there must be a bluetooth hardware in Aspire 5600 (my notebook) which can connect other blutooth devises. Please, send me some instructions.
