Question about Emerson EWL3706 37 in. LCD Television
Solution 1 was just step 1. If the outlet gets power and the fuse or circuit breaker is ok, then U have a bad tv. That seems to be the most common problems with lcd's when they go bad. They either give the blinking light and not coming on, or they go completely dead. Most common causes are a bad power supply or a bad board/PCB/Circuit board.

Check the outlet where you have the TV plugged in. It sounds like that outlet has no power which would mean that the circuit breaker needs to be reset or the fuse needs to be replaced.
