Question about Washing Machines
First unplug the washer, then take a putty knife and insert it into the front corners between the top and the body of the washer to pop open the spring clips. Flip the lid up to get to the lid switch. Remove the two screws accessible from the top, pull the two wires off of the old switch and plug them into the new switch, then line up the switch and reinstall the screws.
