Ac adaptor/battery charger not working

I can't find the AC v515 adapter any where! But You can buy the next best thing. A battery charger one that will at least fit an NP-F730 battery. Go on to eBay and type Sony vc1000 and anything related will come up. These chargers can be used in your car and at home, what's more they are not expensive.

If the camera works when the AC adaptor is connected its the battery, if dosent work with the AC adaptor, its the AC adaptor.

You need a camcorder to charger DC cable,it looks like a battery with a trailing cable that has a DC plug on the end that plugs into the Hitachi battery charger.If you are in the USA you should be able to buy one for about $8 to $12,if you live in UK you will be ripped off at about £24.
I made my own adaptor and charger system for less than £20,If you need more info please contact me.

Disconnect the charger from the Camcorder and remove the battery.
Next, clean the metal contact of the battery and the battery compartment.

Then, insert the Battery in the Camcorder and turn it ON then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

After resetting the Camcorder to the default settings, connect the AC adaptor to check its operation.

If the issue persists then the DC in jack requires to be serviced.

I lost my adaptor to my camcorder I have my footage on a memory card is there anyway to get the footage off so I can put in on my computer

I may be able to help you - I have an extra adaptor (for charging the battery) but not the AC cord or camera connection. Is this what you need?

I have the same problem,, Maybe we have the wrong ac charger???? I don't see anywhere on the camcorder that will connect with my ac adaptor. I have no manual, I got the camcorder from a fleemarket...

Charger board seems to have gone bad.

Disconnect DC power cable from AC adapter/charger. Battery charging will not be possible if the DC power cable is left connected to the AC adapter/charger.

I got a hitachi camcorder at a flee market and it did not come with an instruction book. Everything is fine up to the part where I have to finalize the disc in order to play it back on my DVD player or whatever. I have all the cords but don't know where the outlet on the camcorder is, in order to plug into the ac charger.. In other words: Where do I plug the cords. I can't find anything on the camcorder that will ssupport the cords,, Is there a hidden slot somewhere on the camcorder???? Please help, Email me at...... [email protected]
