I can't get files to come up

When i open files they come up as notepads and when i download it will do the same thing come up as notepads.i try to download load avg,or any otherfiles, applicant would come up as notepads

Hi, Based on your post/description, it would seem that most of your document/aaplication file associations have been moved over to notepad. This is only possible if: 1. Somehow you have lost/deleted your word processing application and all others; 2. Virus/malware infection which changed file association; 3. Registry change/fault; 4. System/Application files corrupted. Actions you can try: a. Scan your system for virus/malware b. Apply/follow Microsoft's recommended repair/changing of file association in c. Repair/Modify/Reinstall all your applications d. Worst case scenario is you may have to reinstall your OS and of course thereafter all your applications. Hope this be of some help/idea. My 2 GB Micro SD Memory Card Working Properly Before Yesterday Yesterday I setted a password on it and now i forgotten the password please tell me how i open my locked memeory card. I am using nokia 3110c
The thing you got to do is download and install file explorer software. After installation follow these steps:

1. Open File Explorer and access the c: drive.
2. There you will find a file named 'mmcstore'. 3. Rename the file to: 'mmcstore.txt'.
4. The file will now open in notepad.
5. U will get your password written in the notepad file.

One thing to note is that, the file explorer software may not work in all phones. It is surely supported in all Nokia's s60 phones (higher generation), but I have seen it working in other phones too. Just give it a try.

I can't open files
whatever you are downloading and trying to open is something that you have not got the software associated with it to open it and either you have chose notepad to open up the file or windows as selected it as default as it cannot find a programme that you have installed to open it. If you know that you have an associated programme, right click on the file select open with and then browse for the required programe.
