tank is being turned on to fast and the safety valve will close and not let the full pressure go to the burner same with any new tank that has the columbine valve in it pressure sensitive
Immediate danger! You have a gas leak. Propane is heavier than air and will settle on the floor. The floor can be covered and ignite and you will not smell it while standing or sitting or laying in bed. Absolutely open the door and leave trailer. Turn off the gas to the heater if the shut-off is outside. Possibly you have a bad gas control valve. This should be repaired professionally.
if your sure the propane tank is full, and the valve is open, (counter clockwise, and the control knob is on? you should not only smell it after 20 seconds, but if you put your ear near the grill you should hear a sound like air leaking.If you hear nothing and smell nothing, good chance there is a blockage in the line, or the burner holes are filled with drippings. First off, get a wire brush and scrub the burners where you see the small holes that the flame normally comes out of, then try the grill again, if still nothing (and your 100% sure the tank is full, the tank is on, and the control knob is on high) you may need to start taking apart the grill, looking for a blockage, many times its below the control knob where you will see an adjustable screen, spider webs and such will get in there and block the flow. Remember to not do any of that with the tank on the grill, remove the tank first.;
Tyrn off tank open conrtol knobs to burners , turn off burners turn tank on slowly see if gas comes out now , if not check burners are not blocked or injectors are not blocked
Turn off the propane tank and disconnect the heater hose from the tank. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the heater hose/regulator to the propane t. Turn the tank valve on very, very slowly until it's completely open again. Now, try lighting the heater. If you are using a 20lb LP grill type tank, that should solve your problem.
Hello, You make have turned the propane tank valve on too fast. Close the valve, disconnect it, reconnect it and very slowly turn the tank valve back on. That should solve your problem.
take your burner out, an make sure theres no spider webs or nothing blocking the passage way of propane getting to the burner, check for rust, shake it, see if anything comes out, or it mite be time for new burner..
