Question about Hampton Bay 24002 Ceiling Fan
Fan works well; but suddenly the blades seem unbalanced - grinding noise along with obviously not balances on both sides.
I need a fan chain pull switch for my Hampton Bay 5 Blade Model 552 od--
SKU # 409-952----
MFG # 5A00007
SER # 720275940415653B
The switch controls High,Medium,Low Speed and Off.
4 Wires--Black,Brown Purple and Gray are connected to awitch, they come from a Block Capacitor (4.5mf,6mf and 5mf)
This fan was purchased around 1995 and is in good condition but needs this replacement switch---
Where can I get the replacement for this model?

It sounds like the blades are rubbing on the housing. Something hholding up the housing may have come loose and just needs to be put back in place.
