I need a fix. SVA VR3218W

Ok, straight from the beginning. When I received this TV this past Monday, I hooked it up properly and watched Monday Night Football, then shut it off. When I came home from work on Tuesday and turned it on, there was only sound and NO picture. While I was trying to fix anything I could think of, I lost the sound. Then I gave up for an hour. When I cam back and turned it on, both the sound and the picture were working. OK, COOL! But today, when I turned it on, it worked. Then the picture cut off and only the sound was there. And right now both the picture and sound don't work, because I was messing around with it again. But while it is on and nothing is working, the screen flickers with a few white lines going parallel with TV and there is a blue box, that I can't read that flickers too.. Hopefully someone can help!!
