Oven not heating

The oven is not heating. Light comes on in oven. Stove top burners all light as they should. The display says it's on and preheating but you do not hear anything come on and no heat when it says preheating is done. Underneath at the broiler I see nothing hear nothing and smell nothing.

What is the model number? It should be either in that back or most likley in the front seen by pulling out the pan drawer. Is this electric? Does the broil element work?

On the bottom is a link of what your oven is. I'm pretty sure it's the ingnightor #16. You should see a glow red hot when you turn on the oven or broil. Very common problem and pretty reasonable price to repair. Unless that glows and get's red hot, it will not turn on the gas. I think that should do it. Let me know if you need anything else. Oven takes forever to preheat

The way the oven works is like so:
1) User sets the desired temperature
2) Power is sent to the ignitor
3) The ignitor is then energized, drawing 3.2 amps of current
4) When the 3.2 amps is drawn, the gas safety valve is allowed to open and gas flows into the burner assembly in the oven.
5) This gas is then ignited, causing the oven to heat.
6) As the oven heats up, the oven sensor, which is the metal rod located at the top on the rear oven wall, converts the heat into an electrical signal, relaying this information to the main control which in turns displaying the temperature.
(In models with a dial thermostat, there won't be a sensor, though a metal wire with a bulbous end will be present, which is actually connected to the thermostat.)

Oven won't heat, display out, gas burners on stove

Hello, you will probably need to pull it out and put it on something. Make sure the breaker is off to it before you test it. There is a thermostat in the very back that could be bad, check for continuity on that. Also check for continuity on the bake and broil element terminals itself, even though you have checked it to ground. If those check good, then the problems is in the control board.
Thanks

WE have a GE Stove top Range. The burners aren't

If you have power to the stove as in the oven light works and the clock works but the burners and oven will not work you only have 120 volts coming to the stove. The stove requires 240 volts for the burners and oven to work. Check the service panel for a blown fuse. There will be 2 fuses in the fuse holder. One of them is blown. If that is not the case then one of the wires has come loose either in the service panel or in the outlet behind the stove. Use a multimeter to check the input voltage at the outlet.

Frigidaire oven will not light

The control panel behind the knobs is the most likely problem.

The heating element rarely fails.

Frigidaire electric range oven and top burners wont come on

It sounds like you only have one side of the 220v current coming into the range. I suggest checking the outlet feeding the range for proper power. The problem could actually be in your circuit breaker, only sending power via one of the conductors.

Whirlpool Accubake Super Capacity 465 gas range. Oven won't light

Some gas ranges may take 10 or so minutes to light.
Other than that you may have a defective glow bar ignitor.
If it glows and does not light the reistance in the ignitior has failed.
