DOMETIC REF WILL NOT COOL CHECK LITE IS ON ALL FUSES ARE OOD

I also have this problem. We were preparing for camping and had the unit plugged into A/C and was cooling fine. The day we left, the 'check' light was on there was no cooling and it was in 'Auto' mode. I turned the power on/off several times over the next 2 days, but never cooled and check light kept coming on.
Now, it does look like the propane tanks went empty, but I was plugged into A/C power and the book indicates that this light should only be on if we are running on gas and having a problem. Is there some reason that the propane tanks being empty would cause this problem?
    Thanks...

Check your 5 amp fuse on the control board on the outside of the trailer where the condensate drain comes out of the side of the r.v. -- while you're at it, check the 3 amp fuse also.

I Have a Dometic RM2652 it heats up in the back, but, neither the fridge or freeze will cool down.. I've checked the fuses, tried gas and electric.

First thing I would do is check this dometic site for recall information. Have model and serial number ready.

Dometic Refrigerator Model RM 2820 Stopped working purchased 5-4-2004 . Tom Collins

Hi Tom,

If your fridge quit working altogether, check your DC fuses in the fuse box, as well as the back of the fridge under the black plastic cover (3 amp). Though the fridge uses LP and 120vac to cool, it is controlled by 12 volts.

I HAVE A 1997 FLEETWOOD RV WITH ORIGINAL DOMETIC RM2852 REF IN IT. ALL POWER SEAMS TO WORK (LIGHTS ARE ON PLUGED IN OR OFF OF GAS BUT THE WHOLE PROBLEM IS THE REF OR FREEZER WILL NOT GET COLD

Largest problem is with the cooling unit going bad on these unit at about your units age.
But first
check your 12 volt fuses and make sure both the fuses in the back of the refer and the fuse in the power distribution panel are good
Must have 12 volt for the gas to work

Refrigerator will not cool

Disconnect the electric heating element from the board on the back. Replace fuses see if it will run on gas now. If it will your heating element needs to be replaced.
