Black screen every thing works but the screen is black! help

The first thing to try is to pull the battery out and put it back in. If that doesn't work then I would contact your carrier (sounds like AT&T?) and see if the device is still under warranty. The phone number to their warranty department is 1-800-801-1101. With modern cell phones, especially touch screens, this issue is not really possible to fix on the consumer end without just replacing the device. If the warranty thing doesn't work out go in to your local store and see what they can do to help you.

mine is doing the same thing but when it goes black i have to take out my bvattery

ok firstly mine was caused by a loose cable.... to fix this u need a manual or u can send it back to sony.. Here is a site that explains EVERYTHING and how u can fix it your self..!!!!

sounds like it's more than just the keyboard. but try using a different one.

is there the "calendar" and "contacts" menu buttons on the bottom of the black screen?

that's what would happen to me. i just turned off the touchFLO 3D on the today screen (by going to settings, then today screen options) and it seems to not go black anymore... even after being untouched for hours.

not sure if the same thing is happening to you, but it worked for me.

Yeah same with mine... the front screen went black.... it started to get lines up and down... then all of a sudden just the front screen turned off! :-(

Try clicking the Disp. button a few times until the display turns back to normal, it might work, if not it must be a more serious issue, this is the simplest solution I have. Good Luck!

This is not quite clear. You say no image at home or at school but worked at the store Did you see it working at the store? Check the cord sonnector for bent pins and or replace the cord- then come back
