Question about Clarion M5675-RET CD Player
Clarion M5675 is installed on my boat which has been out of the water and stored under cover for the winter - very dry environment.
While preparing the boat to go in the water this spring I tried all the electrical powered accessories on the boat and the radio was the only one that would not work.
When power button is pressed nothing happens.
Checked power source and fuses to radio - all Ok, 12 volts are present on radio side of fuses going into the unit.
Took off face plate ( detahable control panel) and reinstalled several times.
Also tried pushing in reset button behind detachable control panel.
Nothing worked - could the problem be in the power switch itself?
Should I get a replacement detachable control panel?
Take the stereo all the way out and hook the black wire to the negative terminal and the yellow and the red wire to the positive terminal on a charged car battey. If it still does not turn on you may have fuse in the back of the deck. If not it's probably fried.
