Intel D845WN motherboard

I decided to replace the motherboard in my machine and make my lad a pc of his own with this board, the only thing is the mohterboard manual doesn't say which leads go on which pins, so I need a diagram of where the reset sw/hdd led/speaker/ pwr sw/pwr led cables go on the motherboard and in which order. Hope someone can help.

Found the exact place to go for the pin configurations for this board, there is a diagram to download also. You'll have to look through the diagrams until you come to the correct one.

I suggest you go to Intel's web site. Then to the Motherboard page and then to Archived motherboards. There you'll find all the documentation you need. Here's the link:

Good Luck.

I cant find anything on the board anywhere else, there are markings on the board but on this board they are that small you need a microscope. Thanx anyway.

Search for markings on the motherboard. sometimes the are not near the pins at all. the pins may have a name like J22 or something.

Please check this Intel link that shows specifications for memory that can be used in the Intel D845WN motherboard.
http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d845wn/sb/cs-008941.htm#1

When upgrading or increasing memory. The DIMM's should be the same. The Intel D845WN board requires the memory to run at 3.3volt. If the memory you are adding is within the Intel spec's, than switch the two Dimm's. Insert only the new DIMM & check if the system hangs. If it does than it is possible the new memory it either not compatable or is defective. For more information about the D845WN board download the manual for you're Intel board. http://support.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d845wn/sb/cs-008937.htm

Luck!
