Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Can i install a 1998 ford explorer transmission into a 1996 ford explorer body?

The quickest way to answer your question is for you to contact a salvage yard and ask them. They have master lists / data bases which will cross reference virtually any swap on any vehicle. Some of the bigger yards are on-line which makes it a lot easier.

Good luck with the project.

Radio lights off on 1998 ford explorer

1 -Check your head light switch and turn signal switch by taping them lightly - Common problem with fords to short signal light switch/head lights and they also have radio lights/clock lights control(lights dim for Radio/clock when you turn the lights on)

If you have checked all the fuses and switchs, possible that the light bulbs have burned out. Check with a local radio repair shop and they can remove the radio and install new bulbs.
