I keep getting the message "drum life reached" and alarm button on,even though I've changed the drum and toner cartridge -
it is working fine - just the error message which is annoying. Does anyone know how to reset it? Can't find info about it in the manual. rdeher

Press life "2" start for toner.
And life "3" start for drum.
These will reset the counters.
If you are having a "check drum error" then you have broken the sensor arm that is attached to your lid.
Call a technician in your area.
