Info on lenovo 0768 laptop screen is vertical instead of horizont

Lenovo 0768 laptop, at startup the microsoft logo is normal. Then the information on the screen goes from a normal horizontal view to a vertical view and the mouse pad works backwards. Its like you are reading sheet of paper in front of you and then it is turned on to its right side edge.

How do i change the screen from vertical display to horizontal

The IBM ThinkPad Z61t computer runs the Windows operating system. Normally, Windows is displayed on a monitor in a manner that makes it easy to read. If you want to change the screen display configuration (from vertical to horizontal), modify the screen display properties in Windows itself. This process causes the computer to rotate the image displayed on the screen by 90, 180 or 270 degrees, depending on the setting you choose.

1.Right-click on an empty portion of the Windows desktop on the Z61t.

2.Click "Properties."

3.Click "Display."

4.Click "Change display settings."

5.Click the "Orientation" drop-down window. Select the "Landscape" option to make the screen display items in a horizontal manner.

I need a backlight for a lenovo 0768

Generally manufacturers won't sell you the back-light by itself; you will have to buy a whole new screen. I would try and pick up a secondhand laptop cheap and wreck that one for the screen.

I find myself unable to use integrated camera in lenovo 3000 N100

Well, there are many things one can do. The most efficient way is to upgrade the CPU to a faster one and installing more RAM.
If that isn't a viable solution, you can also disable unused services that you may not require. More info on that here: http://www.pctipsbox.com/disable-unnecessary-services/

Also, be sure to do a scan for spyware with something like Spybot.
Lots of users report that by using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer increases their systems security.

Remove any unneeded Start Up items in your system tray. If you click on Start, then Run... and type in msconfig and then press OK, it will bring you to the System Configuration Utility. Click on the Startup tab and disable anything you don't need. It's easy enough to simply google a startup item listed to find out what the program does and then you can make a decision from there.

Laptop switches of after 5 minutes when on ac power irrespective of power up mode

You may try to uncheck the box under my computer>right click> properties> advanced> startup and recovery.

uncheck the box for automatic restart.

try to blow a can of compressed air into your fan and heat sink channel.

then try to run windows update or go to update.microsoft.com to do so..

Ronald.
