2002 honda silver wing has been sitting for a while. I fire it up every couple of months with no problem. I have replaced the battery one time. This time I tried to fire it up and battery was dead. Left it on the charger overnight to charge up. Checked the fuses were good and put in new gas still wont fire up. Please help.

Is the motor turning over? If not you need to get the battery load tested. If you used a regual automotive charger on a motorcycle battery you might have fried the battery since the car battery will take more amps than the motorcycle batter.

2002 Ford ranger starting

I had a similar problem with my old 1996 Mercury Sable. Turns out the problem was the Ignition switch was shot. Replaced it, problem solved.

That would be the next thing to check.

I just bought a 1982 honda goldwing that has been sitting for 1 year. It has a new battery and head. It wouldn't fire at all and I adjusted the valves and it runs but only on one side. What could it be?

Sitting would most likely be bad gas in a carburator. Verify that the spark is good, look for mouse nests in the air box, and make sure the carburators are not gummed up with old gas....assuming that it didn't run good before the valve adjustment.

I replaced my stator on my 1983 650 silver wing interstate

Where did you get the stator?? If not factory... You might want to us a volt meter and measure the resistance. You can find the resistance specs in its honda service manual. Give some more info!!
