Does everyone know that Midea took over Everstar. You can find the manual and some parts at mideaaircon.com. Their service center has a seperate website. They have a service center in Medley, Fl. Offices in Miami, Fl. Pretty sure you can find most of what you need at these sites. They have limited a warranty printed up in their manual. It covers limited replacement up to 2-5 years on most products. Hope this helps.

Unit will not power up just displays E1 Any tips to get this working again.

Not sure what kind of unit you have. Try turning off the main power/unplug it. Wait 5-10 mins and then restore power. E1 is an error code but w/o more info I can't tell what it means. If you have the make/model #? Or the owners manual should tell you.

We are smelling an odor as if something might be burning. emptied the water through the hose, and it drained out well. How often should we drain the water?

Most of the AC units, that also act as a dehumidifier, have a indicator light, that tells you when to empty bucket. Since you didn't mention who the manufacturer is of your Portable AC unit of the model number, it's hard to be precise. Check your Owner's Manual or if you have misplaced it, check the water collection bucket frequently and empty as necessary.

Hope this helped you.

Need owners manual for Everstar Portable AC MPM1-10CR-BB6

Needed the manual to clarify a P1 error message. Figured how to fix the error P1 on my own. there are two drains on the unit, one is always open as an overflow drip, the other at bottom of unit has a plug. I opened the plug at the bottom of the unit, drained the water, and the P1 error code cleared.

Don't know how much water to use

Do not put any water in the unit, the water that is in the unit drawer or bucket that is attached to the hose is a byproduct of the air conditioning process.

It transfers heat to cold and in the process produces condensation = Water.

I can't figure out where to drain the water from on the Everstar Portable A/C unit, and don't know what tubes everyone else is talking about. Can someone walk me through this process from scratch? Thanks.

The water bucket is usually located behind the front door. The door is usually held on by snaps or magnets and is hinged on the bottom or side. A hose from the condensate drain pan to the bucket carries the water. Try pulling on the top of the bottom door or each side. It may be a bit tough, but don't pull so hard that it may break. If it is not there, consult the owner's manual. When the bucket fills a switch will turn the cooling off. Ron
