Question about Legacy L7M 7.2 in. Car Monitor

My Connecting cord was cut and thrown away...NEED HELP!!

I bought the Legacy L7M awhile back and loved it. I moved and got a new car and left my old car at my parents house, with the L7M in it. While I was gone, they cut the cord and removed the screen and threw away the connecting cord, as well as the connectors for Audio and Video and power and ground. All I have left is the screen and remote, and three wires sticking out of the bottom of the screen. One is yellow, one is orange and there is also a larger guage wire which is red. I really want to reinstall my screen, but I dont know what is what or how i can connect power, ground, remote, audio and video. I do remember the connecting cord was very similar to an S-Video type connection, but thats all I remember about it. Please help. I have asked many people about what the cords could be, and the general consensus is that the larger red wire is for power and the other two are audio and video, but where is the ground and remote?

Yes the red could be for power. Yellow for video and orange could be remote/ accessories power. Ground is usually the cover. If there is a way you will screw the screen to the car body, it should work.

The drill shuts off when cord moves.

What has likely happened is one of the wires, white or black, inside the black plastic electric cord has fractured.
This is really common on electric hand tools that are either over 5 years old or are well-used.
I can't count how many times it has happened to me!
You will need to somehow cut the cord off at the bad spot, and rewire the end of the cord into the end of the drill handle.
Won't be easy, but you can do it.
Many more modern tools have a reinforced sleeve of about 2 inches at this weak spot.
God bless your efforts.

Need replacement cord. Where can I get?

Just about anywhere. Best bet is to remove the cord from an old appliance getting ready to be thrown out and use that. Works great and is cost effective!!!!!!!

The pump doesn't seem to be pumping. It is plugged in and I have checked the outlet and it has power. I have tried the timer and the manual on and neither seem to make it function. I know it is quiet...

These pumps cannot be taken apart.
There is no reset button.
The cord is sealed into the unit.
You can try cutting the cord and splicing in a new cord to see if cord is bad.
My water-well pump guy rewinds big motors, and in the old days people used to take motors in for repairs. He would rewind them.
He told me that motors today are thrown away.
It seems wasteful that we import all this stuff, and then can't fix it because it's cheaper to dig more metal ore out of the ground.

'99 subaru legacy wagon rear hatch won't unlock

before you pull stuff, go to the back of the car. Instead of pulling the latch (away from the car and towards you) to open the hatch, push the lever in the other direction (towards the car, away from you).

i had this happen to me and read about it online, worked totally fine. It's just stuck towards you and not "sitting" correctly. Hope it works!

You may be able to take the back of the speaker can off the speaker plate on that side to rewire the headphones. You have to carefully remove the earpad and look for screws holding them together. Make note of which color wire connects to what at the solder connection. Cut your cord shorter and cut back the insulation. Test for continuity from the plug to the newly exposed wires with a volt ohm meter. You should be able to get the old piece of cord out of the grommet in the headphones to insert the working cord. Hope this helps.
