I can apparently still take pictures and video. But I can't access them at all. I have no micro sd card in at the moment.

I forgot I posted this. Turned out that just turning the phone totally off and on again seems to work. It's like Windows I guess :p

Using audio video jacks on my computer

Make sure you have the correct plug. The audio out is usually a green plug with a little picture of a speaker next to it. The microphone jack is usually red with, you guessed it, a little picture of a microphone next to it. If you're trying to get sound from your PC to your stereo, you want to connect the cable to the green PC jack.

Also, make sure your volume on the PC isn't muted. In the lower right hand corner of your PC screen, you should see a little speaker icon (click the arrow next to the other icons if you don't see it). Double-click that speaker icon and look at the volume settings. Make sure nothing is muted or set too low, then try again.

Hope this helps.

Krave Camera Not Working

mine had the same problem.
go into memory under settings and (if you have a card) move some pictures/videos/music/sounds to the card from the phone memory.
if you don't have a card, try deleting a few pictures/videos/music/sounds from your phone memory.

hope this helps!

I have a problem with my webcam sound. I recorded my assignment speech and when i try to listen to the speech, there was no sound coming out from the webcam. i tried everything and nothing worked. Can you...

Hi chinonsobeau,

First off, you to list the model number of your HP web Cam, as well as your OS, and the software you using to record your sound. I will assume that you have Quickplay which HP ususally send out with their web cams.

To access QuickPlay, just press the "blue QuickPlay button" next to the power button. If it doesn't load QuickPlay, just do "Start" - "All Programs" - then you will see QuickPlay listed there. If you still can't find it just do a search, you will find the short-cut. If you still don't find it, then HERE is a place you can download it and use it. It also has instruction on how to use it.

Or sometimes HP sends out Cheese, another camera software. You can download that HERE.

These are the instructions for QuickPlay:

Once launched QuickPlay, click on the 2nd icon from left (between DVD and TV icon), then double-click on "HP Pavilion WebCam" from the left side panel, then you will see the blue LED light lit and you should see yourself on the screen. (Double-click "yourself" to enlarge image)

To take a picture or record video, just press the corresponding buttons on the top. (the red circle icon is for recording video (press "Stop" icon to stop recording), the camera icon is for, well, camera)
Videos and pictures are saved at:
Pictures -- C:\Users\Public\Pictures\My Snapshots
Videos -- C:\Users\Public\Videos\HP Webcam

I'm less familiar with Cheese, so I'll give you their website HERE to go to their support and they can guide you through their program.

Anyway, I hope this helps,

Don't forget to leave a raing,

Thanks

Mark

When click bb button my options buttom doesn work

If you are at the home screen and the phone is unlocked, press the "blackberry" key, next to the green answer button. The on screen menu should show "options". If you click on this, nothing happens? If it does pop up with the next window, the row adjustments are in the middle of this screen under "Set Homescreen Layout". Once you have selected this, be sure to press the blackberry button again and save your selection.

Hope this helps!

LG PC Suite not responding

Yeah, unfortunately you're not the only one, the PC suite's buttons dont work for anyone, its a fault LG programmed in to the suite by accident and havent bothered sorting it out, however, if you right click the sys tray icon for the suite (the little icon down next to your windows clock) and select the media manager through the pop up menu, it'll take you straight to it, the same goes for any of the other options of the suite accessed the same way. Alternatively, go to your phones connectivity options in settings and switch USB mass storage mode on and it will act as a removable disk on your computer, and you can just drag and drop your music into the sounds folder.

A word of warning too, do not do a factory or master reset on a KP500, as there is a 60% chance the phone will not boot up past its welcome screen ever again (another common fault with Cookies that LG still havent fixed yet)

Transfering photos and video to pc

Are you trying to autorun PC Studio? If you are, that might be the problem.

Try this: Click START, then MY COMPUTER. If the software was properly downloaded, you should see your phone as one of the icons. From there, you should be able to double click on it, find the pictures and video, and then copy and paste.

If this doesn't work, you could always try to email these to your email accounts, then open them on your computer. That's the way that I do it.
