Although the standard Cox cable box code for my Philips universal remote, 4200, worked for the 9865HDC, the standard code for my GE 24959, 0529, did not. Since Cisco acquired the Motorola cable box division a few years ago I tried all of those codes, but none worked. Then I noticed a single code 0506 for DVR under Motorola. It worked like a charm, even the dedicated DVR List button on the GE 24959. Hopefully you can find a Motorola DVR code for your universal remote.
